Classical Cat
This is a spoof on an 18th century painting. I chose this bit of silliness as an excuse to learn how to paint satin. I find it much harder to paint satin with acrylics. The approach has to be entirely different than when I would paint in oils. Had to do a ton of glazing to get the same effects as I was able to accomplish in oils.

How kind of you to say so. I was pleased with how it came out…but trying to get that satin look with acrylics was a real learning experience. Cheers!
