  • thepaintedsoul replied

Hey Christine, Thanks for dropping by and being so generous in your comment. I just viewed the image and realized that it was the wrong version. I uploaded the color-corrected version that closely matches the original painting. Sorry about that. Hope you still like it anyway. Have a fab week. Cheers!

    Amazing!

  • thepaintedsoul replied

Thanks! It took forever to figure out how to interpret the window. What to show What to leave out. Lots of painting and repainting to get the balance. I got inspired by the fabulous artist Richard Estes. His stuff blows me out of the box. He’s a modern master.

  • thepaintedsoul replied

Hey, I didn’t know about this. . . I was here tonight sorting Bubblemail and trying to unscramble an email from this woman who wanted to write a feature about me. I guess I won some award somewhere, maybe in “Real” Life Art. Anyway, I saw comments from folks and next thing you know I’ve burned 45 minutes on here lingering over other people’s work. : >D And BTW, I love the Con Conning portrait. His physical characteristics are so strong. . . a great subject matter for a portrait, wonderfully portrayed by your skilled soul. Good job! Well, I better get on to other things around here. Take care and have a fab week.
