    Thanks so much David, so glad you like it. I was standing on a tiny road bridge looking down on the ducks, but my God they are soooo noisy LOL!!!!!! This is only about 100 yards from my Alans place

    The poor little thing looked totally lost among the mallards. The water in the River Wyre is so clear.

    I think the water must have been too cold for him, he sat on this rock posing for me LOL!!! I was on a bridge above the river and had to use a bit of zoom, but I was pleased with the outcome

    This was a very unexpected sight on the River Wyre in Lancaster. He was so beautiful, he made the ordinary ducks look very ordinary lol!!!!

    arent they so beautiful ..we call them wood ducks here in Canada .. they are part of the Mallards

    Thanks Lucinda, it was odd but this one didn’t seem to have any of his kind around, all the other ducks were ordinary mallards.
