LABOR CREATES ALL WEALTH

Because in the english language the phrase “Labor Creates all Wealth” doesn’t make obvious sense because it’s not clear what “Wealth” refers to. It could mean “labor creates all of rich people’s money” or it could mean “Labor creates the wealth of society”, but what is the wealth of society? It’s an indeterminate term. Saying that Labor builds society is more straightforward because that’s what we’re talking about, how workers have literally been the ones to build society and the ones that keep it going through their jobs.

From a sharpie pen drawing I did and colored it in Photoshop.

LABOR CREATES ALL WEALTH belongs to the following groups:

    This is really frightening.
It remembers me the Nazies “Work makes you free”
Extreme cynism and metafhorical use of the word labor… work…and free…
    disguise for tiranny and slavery
You have capted very well the essence….the need to control humanity through the spirit of the ant-nest. I do not work in agriculture, making of buildings, roads, boats, factories….and yet earn my living…with my body-mind…am I not constructing society…and the poors, the disabled, the forgotten.. are not constructing society’
We are more than labor….labor is not a mean… or an end… it is an expression of our welfare.. and health.. like combustio n of the cells… the enormous effort that the body is doing for keeping us alive. We all know that not moving is the beguining of death…the same as not eating or drinking…the soul is nourished in other ways…and yet…we are always laboring. Remember the motto.. “Ora et Labora”.
    I love your work..
    Have a hug dear Larry.

I like this one but the slogan made me think of another possible version; Labour Creates ill Health. Not everywhere in the world cares about the work force even today. Some people work in desperate conditions.
Your artwork & sentiments are 1st class Larry!

Thanks Robin, you’re right things never change its seems.
