Mindstorm
I have seven different photos all on their own layers withs masks for blending. I doubled many of the layers and used the film grain filter and vivid light and hue saturation, Alos created much of the storm effects with the brush tool.

Brilliant – what an amazingly surreal image – what does it all mean?
Larry Butterworth replied
Thanks for the comment, I really don’t know what it all means, I wish I did.
Ariane
To me it looks like a comment on freedom – the reclaiming of perhaps.

Hi Larry…
I read your profile…..Now I understand….
Your soul moves somehow… like me.. good for both.
Well….and now this “gem”
That open coat…..Firstly….it became to my mind and please, do not laugh…the image of a
sexual maniac exhibitionist….jus passed lightly.. but I discovered it behind my startled look. But… just inmediately…discoevred the rose….on the lap.It was my soul!..a rutilant and defiant look to the ones that can or wish to “peep” inside. This coat.. of course as part of your soul… invite us to see and get into you. The coat is wide… generous in proportions but it seems very “feminine”... and even the rose is so coquette that I would say that the “inviting” soul is the “Anima”.
In the sunny and vibrant linnen of the coat daily life is running… feelings and instincts are on the road..moving freely..your physical body takes you where you need.
On the place where we would find the head…. there are keys…Oh that is so interesting.
You may have a very compartimentized mind…but you now how to manage them by means of special “clues”.. that are only your own.
And there… on the realm of the dreams… outside the “coat – personnage”.....are the home…both in a symbolic and material order..which is not in equilibrium….but falling…or may be in constant movement. The horse… running to the heavens may be representing the fleshy drives of your essence…the strength of your carnal desires…your creativity both sexua and animic…running free….It is wonderful….but may be home and creativity are both realms of your most spiritual orders….
Well..sorry if this is too much…. I have seen here such a visual symbolic scenery that could not resist….hope you will like it.
Besides that…the composition is such a beauty…and very very personal and touching

Larry Butterworth replied
Rosa Thank you for the great desriptiion of Mindstorm. Sometimes I just have a feeling about some images and put them together and then I move on without really really considering what I did. You have said it better than I could. I am definitely going to keep this. Again thank you for your great perception of this. Regards

wowwww….very beautiful….love it…!!!!
Barbara Morrison
Very nice! it reminds me of those urban legends of the ghost on the highway. In fact my daughter’s boyfriend just saw a lady in white on the highway the other night. It was at a spot where a dam broke two years ago and a few people were killed.
Larry Butterworth replied
Barbara I got a few ghost stories myself that I don’t tell people because I’m afraid i’ll get locked up. thanks for your comment.
Dennis Rubin IPA

Paul (Quixote)...
A superb image. All from your dreams. A lot of creative effort here. The composition is really excellent.
Yuri Lev
Surrealism galore with perhaps a touch of influence from Jim Dine. A key-headed figure with a fancy open coat looming over the kansas landscape with the approaching storm. Again, for me, a throw back to an american image from the past.
Larry Butterworth
Ya its hard for me to escape my past it live on inside me. Thanks for commenting.
