To go with the poem,

Standing out in the rain,
Watching the world go by,
Knowing I’ll never fit in,
Not knowing the reasons why.

Time is a healer,
And quickly passes us by,
Just like those strangers,
Who will never see me cry.

How can you stop the tears,
Not knowing the reason ‘why?’
How can you beat your fears,
When you have no reason to try.

Then one day there came a reason,
for me to live my life again.
And baby, you are that reason,
Now I can step out of the rain.

Very interesting poem and artwork, Trace!!~S

  • Thank you Steve, the poem is for my brother who was parted from me 36 years ago, we have still not met up in person but do finally talk on line, he being in Australia and me being in England. He was four and I was seven.
the art work is made with simple shapes such as circles and squares, much like fuzzy felts but more sophisticated. My hands don’t work so good these days and so I cheat to get a neater appearance. Trace xx

Very cool, Tracy!! Glad you have communication now!! The “simple” shapes of this piece actually adds to its uniqueness!! Love the words also!! ;-)

  • Thank you Steve, It is hard to convey this fact on every piece I do but have now made a demonstration sequence, maybe people would value them more if they knew how they were made, thank you for looking
