Olympic Rings At St. Pancras International by

(F550EXR, processed from RAW with RawTherapee and GIMP, f4.4, ISO100, 1/4secs, -2/3EV, small Gorillapod)
Taken February 2012, so the Olympic Rings are on display.
I didn’t know it until now, but St Pancras Station was ‘designed by William Barlow in 1863, with construction commencing in 1866. The famous Barlow train shed arch spans 240 feet and is over 100 feet high at its apex. On its completion in 1868 it became the largest enclosed space in the world.’ (quote from the station’s website, linked above). Still impressive today, and the restoration is beautiful! The station and hotel are Grade I Listed Buildings
