Liquid gold on blue by Themis
Clear

(AS IS, Finepix F70EXR, f=5.4, 1/125secs, EXR mode DR, WB cloudy)
I posted this a few days ago together with this, and some people said they liked the lighter version. Well, I did take a ‘lighter’ version in landscape mode too, so here it is.
This is taken in a port in the Aegean (Greece).
If you do me the honour to buy a print, you’ll have fun rotating it and having 4 pictures for the price of 1 :-)
(You may like my others in the series – thanks for visiting)

The amazing thing about this is that it’s a scene that we – or at least I – see quite often, yet never think of photographing. You have now proved that there are photos all around us if only we use our eyes! Great piece of work indeed.
    Regards
    Peter

  • Many thanks for this wonderful and kind feedback, much appreciated. If you look around my portfolio, you’ll a few photos taken in exotic locations such as London (but I’m lucky enough to live and work here), and quite a few that are taken in my kitchen or from our bedroom window. Indeed, photos are all around us :-)
    Thanks again :-)

I find this shot very relaxing…you can almost feel the motion of the water & the warmth of the sun. Nicely done.

  • I’m very happy you like it – yes, it was a very peaceful late afternoon, still too hot for people to think of going out, but just finishing their siesta with a nice coffee by the port, waiting for the sun to go down. Many thanks for the visit and feedback, much appreciated
