(AS IS, Finepix F31fd, f=8mm (38mm 35 equivalent), f/4, 1/1000 secs, ISO100)Just playing and trying to rely on things other than colour when taking a picture of a sunset. It was quite windy, hence the top of the trees not being very straight.

Well done. For some scenes nothing can beat B&W.

Congratulations on your feature on 22 March 2010!
Thank you!! I’ve just found out about and joined this group, so it’s a double surprise – very much a pleasant one, much appreciated :-)
Great shot, well done I love black and white and obviously so do you. There is more colour in B&W.
Thank you for the visit and very kind comment. I agree, B&W makes us look beyond the pretty colours :-)
The perfect picture!!! The rule of the 3 triangles and the offset center perfectly where the sun is. There is in that picture as well the 1/3 (ground) – 2/3 (sky) rule that is observed.
For the perfection of that wonderful picture there it is… And Congrats!!!
I learn something new every day – I’ve never even heard of the rule of the 3 triangles before this moment, and as this picture is straight from the camera, you can imagine how pleased I am :-) Many, many thanks, much appreciated!
Very majestic, congrats! ;>
Many thanks :-) – visit and feedback much appreciated
Wonderful picture ! Deserves to be featured in Mornings & Evenings… (sorry, little problem with the banner this week but you can believe me ! ;-) (2/4/2010)
I believe you :-) Many, many thanks, much appreciated!
excellent! some images work better in b/w..this is one of them
Indeed, the colours were very strong, and there is such thing as ‘too much colour on a sunset picture’ :-) Many thanks for the visit and feedback, much appreciated
Oooo, lovely black and white!!! Wonderful shot, Ms T!!
Thank you, I’m very glad you like it :-) I just thought I’d do something different with a sunset, you know?!
