(AS IS, Finepix F31fd)I was taking some pictures of cherry blossom in St. James’s Park last March, when I saw these two little things tied together and dancing in the wind… and then they kissed :-) (clickable images)

Thank you :-) it’s already in the queue for Sets of Two, but I din’t know about the other one – thanks again :-)
Thank you, I’m glad you like it :-) Thanks for visiting!
kudos on such a remarkable focus
Thank you :-) This is one of the many shots I took and one of the only good two (you can see the other one on the right) – it was a typical spring day: moody, breezy, and the clouds would not stay still. I’m glad you like this one, thanks for the visit and feedback, much appreciated :-)
oooo… martisoare :D excellent !
Mersi :-) Found in St James’ Park last year, while I was trying to take pictures of the cherry blossom – it was a nice surprise, but the breeze was too strong and the sun too shy for more pictures… Thanks for the visit, I hope you enjoyed it :-)
They must have been put there by Bulgarians this is a Bulgarian tradition in Spring time..you wear them in March and then when you see the first Stork you hang them on a tree for good luck…
Thanks for the explanation – someone said a similar thing on the other picture I posted (see the link in the Description). I wonder if they saw a stork in St James’s :-) I haven’t seen one for many, many years, the closest I came was a heron! Many thanks for the visit, much appreciated
I have seen hundreds as Bulgaria has become my second home for the last 7 years and my wife is Bulgarian…you can’t or never see a Stork in downtown Sofia so people just hang their bracelets pendants etc on the trees anyway in March and April trees are very colourful in red and white :) and these trees make good photographic material …..
Apologies for not answering this one at the time as well – a very interesting tradition, thank you :) Spring has come again, maybe I should revisit St James’s Park and see if they are there again!
this is a very interesting & informative dialogue!
RedBubble is wonderful like that, isn’t it? As well as a great place to post and talk about photos :-) Many thanks for the visit, I’m glad you found here something you liked!
