Believe it or not, this was the colour of the sky that evening in October 2009 in Central London when I took this just before heading underground for my trip home by Tube. If it has an air of familiarity, you may have seen another picture I took from a few metres form this spot, – see how it looks in the morning.
The building on the right is also known as ‘THE COUNTY FIRE OFFICE’, as per the English Heritage entry. Like every building on Regent Street, this is a listed building, meaning that ‘is a building or other structure officially designated as being of special architectural, historical or cultural significance’ (Wikipedia).
