Beautiful view and capture…..
Many thanks for the visit and compliments, I’m glad you like it
lovely capture – ying and yang of the swan world! I love black swans there is something about them that is quite magical – or is that because there are not many of them around!?
Thank you – I’m very glad you like it. I couldn’t decide which of the two pictures I like more, so I posted them both :-) Black swans seem to be fewer than the other ones, but I also think the white ones seem more inspiring of better sentiments (they’re always pure white, they are more visible, etc.), so the white ones are probably better represented in art (better PR :-)). I love both kinds, along with the rest of the birds :-) Thanks for stopping by today
Actually, this though as beautiful is sad…I probably prefer the other, but you might consider a collage to display them both- then it’s the whole story!
Thanks for the idea, I’ll have to learn how to do that. As about the sadness of it… don’t be: the white one started to preen it’s feathers almost immediately after I took this one, so it couldn’t care less about the other swan(s) or the rest of the world :-)
Lovely capture, Themis, swans are magnificent! ;o)
Thanks – no wonder they are seen as a symbol of grace (that is, until you step too close to their nest or family!)
so sad, excellent images
Thank you – it only looks sad because we choose to look at it that way. In reality, they are just feathered cars passing each other on that liquid motorway :-) only concerned with their own lane/teritory
I was too far to hear if there was any hissing involved :-)
Cruel…Snubbing such a beautiful creature…
If this was a cartoon and your comment a bubble, it could go to both characters :-) Thanks for stopping by and for your comments
Beautiful image…how wonderful to see a black and a white swan together…
Yes, it was quite a thing! Many thanks for the visit and kind feedback, much appreciated :-)
Thank you very much, I’m glad you like it
