When creating my asymmetry mandalas I usually do them spontaneously without plan or forethought. With this one, I drew a circle and then stared at the blank space in the circle until the idea of the off-centered double-spiral appeared. The stars just seemed like a natural to fill in the negative space.
Many of my mandalas are painted using primary and secondary colors, rainbow colors, and/or chakra colors. This one uses the 7 chakra colors, which are placed in order within the sections of the double spiral.
