Thank you very much for the feature! This one really grew on me, so I am glad it got featured as well.

Definitely….
I am not all that familiar with your work but I think I did feature another piece of your work recently which I liked too… This one though has real impact. For me at first I thought the piece was bordering too close to the photo manip side of things and I nearly rejected the piece but gave you the benefit of the doubt.
I would only ask that future submissions are more brushed to remove the element of doubt from my mind and that of the co-hosts…
It’s only that I recognize one or two of the brushes in this that persuaded me on this occasion… but overall a very powerful image, and very nicely crafted!
Our aim in the group is to encourage you to use the brushes and paint with them….
: )))) Frankly, I thought you would reject the piece, because it was not entirely painted. But I did use brushes extensively, you’d only be able to recognise that if you saw the original material of the face that I was using. But I do agree this one belongs more to digital art than strictly digital painting. Thank you for bending the rules for me, though. :)

Lol.. Originally The group was set up to encourage photo real painting but the problem with that is that it becomes impossible to distinguish at times between a manuipulation, a photo or a Bert Monroy style painting… Man, is our job tough even without that!!!
Yeah, I completely agree. And I guess that you receive more creative and imaginative pieces since then : ) I discovered that when one pays too much attention to the technique, they forget that they are supposed to create, not reproduce : ))))
