Wonderful shot, Nicola – are these butterflies only found in the northern part of Australia? I live in Victoria, and have never seen anything like this – absolutely beautiful!!!

Thanks for your lovely comment, Denise. I think these butterflies are most commonly found in the Brisbane area of Queensland, from what I’ve read so far. I came back to Brisbane recently, and my eyes are wide open – fresh perspective to its natural beauty.
