Succumb by thelonewolffft2

Metal Prints

Available to buy on…

Even those you look up to can succumb to something. For some reason when I look at this picture I think of a little brother watching while a big brother succumbs to the flames.

I still can’t believe how this picture looks in a metallic print. The dark’s are so rich and the flames seem to leap off of the page, even the greens just seem to pop somehow.

Wow I can feel the heat from here! great capture) I’ve just seen your profile, we’ve always wanted to move to the country and this certainly shows the flip side of its beauty )

  • There’s always a flip side to everything. But I still wouldn’t give it up for anything.

When I looked at this in the thumbnail, I could see a hand in the flames. as if it were reaching and holding the tree as it consumed it.

  • On the left hand side? I hand never noticed that before, but you are right. Thank you.

It’s funny how people see different things. I see a lion.
I hope you weren’t playing with matches… But if you were I guess we can forgive you after all it was for a great shot.

  • Playing with matches, no. Playing with a tera-torch, yes. :P But it was for setting back burns to prevent the advance of the fire. When I took this shot I was working as an ignitions specialist on a fire use project in the Bighorn National Forest.
