Taken at dawn at the Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne, Australia. The Shrine was completed in 1934 as a memorial to all Australian soldiers who have served in war.

Lest we forget.

Shot with a Nikon D200, 12-24mm lens at 18mm, F16, 100 ISO, polariser, tripod and cable release. 7 shot HDR, merged and mapped in Photomatix and touched up in Photoshop.

Awesome shrine! Maybe if more countries had such, we would have less war. . . maybe not.
The gentle colours reflected on the shrine are fantastic! Good work!!
