Taken at sunrise, Lake Glenmaggie, Victoria. Even though the water level is around 19%, there are still plenty of opportunities for the photographer who’s willing to get up early and walk around in thick, heavy mud that’s around 4 inches deep. And then afterward drive up to the local car wash to pressure wash your boots and your tripod…

Shot with a Nikon D200, 28-70mm lens at 40mm, F/11, 100 ISO. 7 shot HDR, merged/mapped in Photomatix, touched up in Photoshop.
