Bare Tree Island

Taken at the Alfred Nicholas Memorial Gardens, Dandenong Ranges NP, Victoria.

This tree stands alone on a small island in an ornamental man made lake. I shot this tree exactly one month ago, and I had to revisit it now that we’re further into autumn. I’ve tried to get the composition as close to the original as possible. The difference one month makes is quite astonishing!

Shot with a Nikon D200, 7 shot HDR, processed with Photomatix, adjustments made in Photoshop.
