Taken on the Great Ocean Road near the Cumberland River mouth, Victoria as the tide was coming in.

Shot with a Nikon D200, 12-24mm lens at 14mm, 1/6 sec, F/22, 100 ISO, polarizer, tripod.

7 shot HDR, merged/mapped in Photomatix, touched up in Photoshop.

WOW, brilliant capture!! Amazing composition with much detail at the foreground!! Love the dramatic look of the clouds which are creating so many depth of field I can’t stop looking at this shot!! This is very dramatic Alex. The tones are really nice and well presented under the menacing sky and I really like the timing of the water creeping through into the small inlet.

WOW,.........very nicely composed, stunning moody beach scene! The framing of this scene lends the viewer a lovely flow of perspective! The slower shutter speed adds a dreamy surreal feel to the water and the clouds add contrast and mood to the warmer shaded beach area! The detailing and shapes of the rocks are amazing! Beautiful work! :)
