Artist's Description

This portrays an Omega wolf,a subordinate wolf, the one never allowed to breed, the one that must survive on the few scraps of food left when the others are finished eating,a wolf which always will be told what to do and what not to do. With her one ear severely damaged, with scars on her face, standing alone in the sleet and snow looking at you, creates a deep feeling of sympathy in the onlooker.Thats the way wolves live and survive, that’s the way of nature, survival of the fittest,(strongest) on reflection, are we much different ?

Taken witha Nikon D700 and a 70-200mm,2.8 lens witha 17mm tc(340mm) at a Danish Wildlife Park
