When down at the frozen harbour, checking my boat,I saw this wild mink run over the ice and jump into the boat in hope of finding a few scraps of left over food.
Amazing, love it.

They are greedy guts.. but oh so CUTE!!! One of the rare creatures that can down a porcupine AWESOME CAPTURE.. (they’d knock the Porcupine out of trees up in Wisconsin, but if the porcupine wasn’t high enough they wouldn’t bother) clever guys and you captured it perfectly

Adorable! I remember seeing mink on a mini cruise coach trip somewhere between Esbjerg and Ribe… I don’t know how I suddenly remembered that ;-)
Thank you for submitting this to Otters and Meerkats :-D
there are many mink farms along the Danish west coast as they have easy access to fish food for the mink. They sometimes escape, and I am sure it’s one of these you saw! thanks alan
I forgot to mention it was in some aquarium or similiar place there… so they were probably captive. I thought it was weird that the details are pretty hazy then scared myself a little that it was almost 14 years ago ;-)
Great to read about the mink farms though :-)
that would be The North Sea Aqarium you have visited!you can google it and see it again?alan
