taken with a nikon D700 and a Nikon 300mm lens with a 17mm tc (510mm)
the shot was taken at a wildlife park, where the bears have several acres to live in. This type of parks areas are so big that pathways consist of a series of bridges going directly through the bears terrritory, so that you can come very close to the animals without any fencing in the way to spoil the view.Their natural needs are regarded as top priority and they are fed and looked after as they would be in the wild.
This particular was taken from the foot of a small hill in order to avoid fencing etc. and thereby create a very natural looking scene.
