Wow, this SO reminds me of my Roxy with her fake duck, lol. Except our pond isn’t that clean. ; ) Very nice, Alan!

Well, if I’m honest, there are things that I see on RB that are disturbing to me – and I just choose not to view them or dwell on them. I am hoping that artists understand other artist’s desire to express themselves, whether they agree or not. When I was putting together the ‘rules’ for the H&F the Great Outdoors group, I did make this one of the rules…”If your photo/art includes a harvested animal, please do your best to show minimal amounts of blood, entrance/exit wounds, etc. Though we, as hunters, know that these are a part of any kill, we also want to uphold and present an honorable, sportsmanlike image of hunting.”
To me, this image is extremely tasteful. It’s sportsmanlike, it doesn’t depict anything violent, there’s no blood showing, etc. I suppose there could be some that would still take issue with it, but when it all comes down to it, we just can’t agree with everyone.
That’s a very long answer to a short question, but you touched on something that’s very near and dear to my heart, and that I have strong feelings about! : ) Thanks for letting me share!
