The London Eye
The London Eye is a 135 metre tall Ferris while on the South Bank of the Thames in London. It is currently the tallest Ferris wheel in Europe and London’s most popular paid tourist attraction, bringing in over 3.5 million people a year. It was built in 1999 and has 32 viewing ‘pods’.
About The Photograph
I wanted to get a slightly different view of the Eye and these scary, almost gothic-looking trees made me think of the eye as a weird luminous blue tree in the midst of this ‘forest’. I set my camera low down on a tripod to make it look like they were all in the same place and the same size and took a number of exposures.
