Colour, Calm, Commotion by Conor MacNeill

London Cityscape

This cityscape of central London, UK, is a more unusual angle, taken from a building on Strand. It shows two of London’s biggest Landmarks; The London Eye and the Palace of Westminster Clock Tower, otherwise known as Big Ben. The river Thames divides the two, as do a number of light trails, caused not only by cars, but also boats.

I like how this shows how busy and colourful London is at night time. Although this angle is more unusual, I think it captures a certain element of London life that’s missing from other cityscapes.
