Eye of the Storm
This was taken in North Carolina this summer. I like the moody, stormish feel of it.
This shot can be seen in my calendar Everyday Mysteries. Take a look!

Wonderful dof and such gorgeous light. I love when the sky is so dark and yet the sunlight is still bright. A great capture.

Nikki, this looks even better than it did in the thumbnail…and I was drawn to it when I first saw it that way.
A fantastic, incredible, brilliant shot from an incredibly effective angle ~ I always like the dominant and it works here so, emphasising as it does the dark heavy storm behind. And the light on the windblown grasses gives an even greater contrast of light and dark, colour and hue.
Now I’ve got to go quickly…I want to favourite this…now!!

Oh I meant to add, this would go beautifully in the KARIOS group. Had you thought of submitting it?
