Dreaming of Loch Etive Pier

Dreaming of Loch Etive Pier

Every now and again I like to upload something a bit different so here goes!
The last couple of shots of Loch Etive have shown the scene in colour and mono and here is an interpreted version of the scene. Often when I take a picture I have an idea of an atmosphere I wish to portray or sometimes I just see a whole mass of images that can come from one or two photographs: as here!

Anyway, thanks for looking and I hope you like it.

Love this R. You have made Scotland all hot and tropical. The different shades of orange and black are such a good combination.

  • Richard Ion replied

Good warming shades for a cold day:-) So glad you like this one Beve and thanks for popping in and commenting.

This works really well … love the sense of solitude and beauty it conveys. the composition draws you into the light on the water .. beautiful!

I have to confess that 95% of it is Nature’s doing David: it’s a stunning spot and designed for photographers:-)
    Thanks for the kind words.
