Earthen

Now I feel the weight of your body
pressing me,
tightly to the ground
so kneading me.
pressing me naked
to the forest floor.
my form swims in energy
without bounds
The matted gr0und slips under my skin.
Feeling my pulse with this breathing earth.
My roots alive
with the nurturing touch
of grubs and worms
and things that revel in the wood land ground.
Listening to the bubble and decay of fertile soil
the industry of all creation
The constant growl and toil
The ebb and flow
of old and new
the whirling regeneration.
this timelessly, so bravely dying,
landscape reborn.

stoking the furnaces
of the earths great engines,
driving massive tree trunks
into the sky,
where their canopies
caress with windy finger tips
the tender bellied clouds
the chimes of icy crystaled leaves
windy scattered leaves.
Sprinkling all below with warm forest rain.

Ringing out the new
the liquid crystal slew
of morning mists
sweet melting dew
to cerebrate the new days run
before it’s waking,
I fly on beams of grace
to rise and kiss the sun.

Cathedral organs blast with certitude profound
this symphony of day break
with something more than sound
but first
with mornings pollen baited breath
a single bird calls out
waking the dreamy mystery
of mistress slumbers rout
from this satyrs lair she bounds
believing she is chased.

as everything in the forest
gradually stands to greet the Sun
The dragon flies
awakened by the clamor of their feast
they tell me I belong
and include me as I’m able
sit me firmly at their table -
This celebration in sweat and song.
Green and blood send rhythms to my feet
to near to hear, I tap the
dance of life so dear,
to a throb,- if not a gong.

So soon the smell of humus
brings me naked and around
This day the pool of light
that saturates the ground
flows quickly from me,
faster then I bound
hungry in it’s wake,
I am soon naked at your door
Is it now
Time for more?
