My wife and I spotted this festive entryway in Corrales, New Mexico, just outside Albuquerque. I liked it unadorned, but as I was shooting from the gate the homeowner (a very nice fellow, as it turns out) came out to decorate for All Hallow’s Eve. The jack-o-lantern combined with the chile ristras make this a wonderful representation of autumn in the American Southwest.
