This little hoodoo island is located on Juan Medina Road, just off NM 503, approaching Chimayo, NM. Chimayo is home to the Lourdes of the americas, the fabled Santuario de Chimayo.

Pentax K20D, 1/60 @ F13, ISO 100, 55mm.

Processing: Selected for the sky and the most distant mountains and converted to B&W using a red filter. Selected for the foreground and converted using a purple filter.
