This stove is located in an abandoned house in the ghost town of Guadalupe, New Mexico, on the edge of the Cabezon Wilderness Area, approximately 30 miles off New Mexico Highway 550, between San Ysidro and Cuba, NM. The house is a true adobe and the roof is largely intact. Based on items within the structure (some furniture, a lot of foodstuffs) it appears that it may be a way station and temporary use area for the ranchers who run cattle on the adjacent property. Guadalupe Mesa is not far from here.
