Wheel Alignment

Wheel Alignment

I spotted this rusting pickup in a field on the outskirts of Muskogee, Oklahoma last year. It was only after I’d stopped to shoot it that I realized I might be able to use the wagon wheel as a framing device.

Fantastic capture and a great eye…Love the lines from the wagon wheel and the way you used it to frame out the old truck in the back ground ! But the wheel also seems to give it a kinda false sence of depth between the inter part of the wheel and the outer !! Outstanding work wtg!!!

  • TheBlindHog replied

Thank you, Carla. I hadn’t noticed the depth provided by the angle, but see it now. Thanks for your insight!

It is quite an illlusion, isn’t it, TheBlindHog? It almost seems as if the inner image is actually different from the outside of the wheel…. very clever!!! Very intriguing! You certainly have a good eye for catching unique shots…. Fave!
