Dark and Light
A little experiment with lighting.
This photograph was taken in the side isle of the gigantic collegiate church of St Waudru. Although located in the middle of the former county of Hainaut, the style in which it is built is one of the finest examples of Brabantine gothic. Eventhough its construction time was incredibly long (from 1450 untill 1686 CE, and it was in fact never finished), the style of the building is quite uniform. It is by many considered the most beautiful medieval buildings in Belgium. I disagree, but i think it’s definately impressive.

Love it!!! Espacially the stained glass tinting on the walls.
Seems like one of those places you’d like to play with your echo in, but you wouldn’t dare to!!

This is great work. I love the angle, and the secrecy of what’s down the hall. As above, lovely colours, and just a really interesting, well composed photo.
