My Salute to you

Tragedy baby wake ’Cause here I am.
Courage slips in the lake,
jumping down,
to find it shallow quit like yourself.

So many lies line that floor.
Tried to make me need
that tragedy I was part of.

For all that you did here’s my Salute
to you;
Made war come to life,
smiles faked,
tears held in,
we learned to lie,
That’s all You.

I know your head is a prison reviewing
everything you did,
every time you made her cry,
Did that make you feel better about yourself?

There’s no excuse for what you were.
And these words are dedicated for the
years I kept my mouth shut .

For all that you did here’s my Salute
to you;
Made war come to life,
smiles faked,
tears held in,
we learned to lie,
That’s all You.

Are you proud of what you accomplished?
Does the Mirror smile back?
Does it relive what you’ve done,
Tell you all of how it was?

For all that you did here’s my Salute
to you;
Made war but I won,
smiles faked,
tears held in,
we learned to lie,
That’s all You.

And these words are dedicated to the
years I kept my mouth shut.

My Salute to you
