How To Be Your...
I dont know what feels like toture and satisfies more…being in love…or being a friend.
Or maybe I’m too frickin dramatic.
Someone let me know.

I ask the right questions.
But what I really want to know.
What I want
Is what you want.
So.
What is it that you want, dear?
I can give you my mouth
Talk the right words,
Say yes when you want no
Stay when I should go.
I can give you my ears,
Hear all day long,
Where you think you went wrong.
But I’d rather give you some heart.
So I’ll tear mine apart,
Just so I know
How to be your
Friend.
Couldn’t
Care more for you.
Think I all ready do.
Too late to stop me when I get going.
But I forget to wait
Too much liberty
I tend to take.
Make you see the blue sky
though it’s snowing.
I can give you my eyes
See you hurt yourself,
Watch you act like you don’t know your wealth.
I can give you my hands,
To hold you up high
When you’d rather die
Then to let me see you cry.
But I’d rather give you my faith,
No matter if my store is at stake,
Just so I know,
How to be your
Friend.
You can’t shut me out.
I laugh when you try.
Does it seem to you,
That I stick like glue?
I’d like to give you the choice,
I don’t mind your voice.
Does it bother you?
I sorta grew on
You.
Shouldn’t
I say the right words.
So what is it that you
want?
I can give you everything
Be silly and sing
Contradict what you say,
You’ll change your mind anyway.
I can give you just me,
Clear fog when you can’t see
Annoy you and bore you,
Make you mad that I know you.
I suppose it’s what you’d want
From anyone like me
Anyone who wants to know
How to be your friend.

“Some really good questions here”
TheAngelique replied
yes, there are. A few we forget to ask when we’re friends with someone. Funny, isn’t it?
