During a trip to Yellowstone we made the drive through Beartooth Pass. We got caught in a blizzard at the top of the pass. The snowstorm resulted in a few nice images though. This is one of them. Following this road leads you to a junction where you can head east toward Cody, WY or into the NE entrance of Yellowstone.

    I have always found them appealing as well. This was the second time I had attempted one. I think it turned out better than the first try so hopefully that’s a trend. :)

    I really like the sky, great feeling to your image.
    We drove through there in September a couple of years ago on our way to Napa Valley.
    I so want to go to Yellowstone in the winter :)
    Now I want to go even more after your images, nicely done.

    It wasn’t even winter. :) It was September for me too. we just happened to be in the wrong place at the “right” time. lol
    It truly is a beautiful area.
