Elvis is shown blessing the viewer, while holding his beloved home, Graceland. Two angles above are offering peanut butter and banana, a pair of sunglasses, and a golden scarf.
The Latin inscription on the scroll is an actual quote of Elvis. It says “My voice is God’s will, not mine.” (Meus vox vocis est Deus mos, non mei.)
Elvis was drawn to peacocks because he believed them to represent eternal life. The one in this piece bears a rod with Elvis’s “Taking Care of Business” logo (TCB) because, as He said, “Quickness is what I dig”. The halo has bacon surrounding it. Elvis loved bacon on just about everything. He ate it often, and in great abundance, it was amongst the foods Elvis wanted to be kept in stock at Graceland “at all times”.
