Oh, great composition and lighting! Wonderful hyperfocal distance, too. Do you have the exif on your homepage? Would love to know the data, Brian.
Beautiful work!
Brian Carey replied
So glad you like it Jan, this is taken in western Newfoundland where I am to now, in Gros Morne National Park, this is a trail to the fresh water fjord. BTW as requested I reosted the EXIF data here!

Fabulous. That walkway is just mesmorizing! It looks like you’ve taken it at eyelevel so it feels like you’re walking down the boardwalk. Love it!
Stan Wojtaszek
Might seem old hat to you and OB but one thing I found Newfie’s seem to love are boardwalks and stairs. They were all over the place, at least in the part I visited.
Are those tire tracks along each edge?
Good capture, my friend. Brings back memories ! :)
Brian Carey replied
Thanks Stan, no they are not tire tracks on the side of the boardwalk. There are small patches of water in the area and the boardwalk stretches across this marsh in the park. Glad you like it. Gonna spend Friday night and Saturday morning hiking the park, I’ll be home Saturday night.
Joanne Bradley
Amazing, spectacular, breathtaking! What I wouldn’t do to be able to walk this path, well maybe..awww almost anything! The light, the composition, the color, the dof, the pov and the exposure are just superb!

Thanks for the exif data, Brian. Love how you captured this. That quirky curve in the boardwalk adds to the shot, and the reflective blue water in the foreground, high horizon… I could admire this forever. Best just to buy, eh?

Superb – a perfect example of taking the eye to infinity, plus the curves in the boardwalk add an extra aesthetic which is very pleasing and satisfying for the viewer. Fave for me :)
