Wow, Brian this is brilliant! What an outstanding shot! Makes me think of the Desiderata and this specific line:You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars!

Very intergalactic!! I’d say on the celestial timetable, you’re more of a newborn! Was this taken during the Perseids Meteor shower??

  • Brian Carey replied

No Deb, I think the Perseids Meteor shower was Wednesday night. I took this last night about 12 hours ago!

Man, you’re a lot steadier than I am to be able to stand there that long without blurring !! lol.
    Excellent work, Brian. :)

  • Brian Carey replied

Thanks Stan. Yeah I did stand there for the full 30 seconds, I was firing the flash manually. Unfortunatly I can’t use trailing edge flash sync with the flashes I have, with the Canon 50. I need one of those expensive speedlites for that. I did the same in Twilight Sings the Blues I got another image planned which wil take me between an hour and two to do and I don;t intend to stand there for an hour so I go some thinkin’ to do in order to prevent bleed through!
