Beautiful! I`d swear the water is moving!!

Gorgeous scene and light, and beautifully composed, Brian. I thought that rock looked flat! Circular ND, or rectangular? I never remember to carry mine, and thought a circular one might be easier to attach.
Brian Carey replied
Thanks Jan. I used a rectangular 4 stop (1.2) ND grad here, a HiTech in my Cokin P holder. The problem with circular nd grads is you can’t move them and the split is always in the center. As you can see here the split is above center, just above the iceberg on the horizon!

Well. It’s already been called beautiful, gorgeous and magnificent. I guess that only leaves “stunning” for me !!
Great shot, Brian. Looks really good framed.

So glad you mentioned that, Brian. I was just about to buy one. I’ll try my Cokin holder again, which, of course, doesn’t fit the new lens. I have more equipment than my skills can accommodate.
I’ll feel happy when I can capture the light as you do here!
Brian Carey replied
No problem Jan. Check out the Cokin holders find out which one is best for the lens you will most likely be using it with. Many manufactures make filters which will fit these holders. I hoping some day to pickup a few B+W brand, they’re fabulous quality. Don’t forget you can stack these filters, for example putting 2 two stop filters to get a four. Of course then you got to decide on whether to get hard split or soft split. I’m hoping to get a collection of both! Any questions ask away, I learning too!
