a wonderful bolete duo…....some of the most fascinating of the fungi world. love the moss and the almost ‘barren’ looking trees/light behind them
Brian Carey replied
Thank You Carla you obviously know a lot about Mushrooms. I wanted to show them from this perspective, a view little of us have ever seen!
Squealia
Fab capture, but please refer to group rules, then resubmit
Brian Carey replied
Thanks this was done with a compact camera!
Squealia
LOL I guessed that but the compact group rules state the camera details must be added to the description box ! Please added the camera make/ model then resubmit to the group….. the image is superb and it would be ashame not to submit it
Brian Carey replied
Will do young lady!
Pamela Jayne S...
Thank you Brian :)
It’s a really lovely image and I love the pov :)
Brian Carey replied
Thanks Pamela. I really wanted to get a different perspective so I dug a little hole to place the camera in and was able to compose it using that great little display on the S5. BTW I did fill in the hole and put things back as if nothing was disturbed!
Pamela Jayne S...
Well it was well worth the digging and scraping :) That is what is so good about the compacts you can do something as fabulous as this :) without little or very little effort! Well spotted and well captured :)
Brian Carey replied
Thanks Pam. I still have my S5 and I know I can do things with it that I can’t do with my 50D. “Shhh, please don’t tell anyone I said that”?
Robin D. Overacre

Oh my its magical, right out of Lord of the Rings! Brilliant point of view, down low and great composition, color and capture of light! Just perfectly aligned with the darker saturation at the bottom near the mushroom “trees” and the light in the upper portion of the image!
Brian Carey replied
Thank You Joanne and to think these mushrooms are only ablut 3 inches tall. Fun stuff!
