Chinese painting exhibition 17-22 May 2011 at Victoria Artists Society Galleries

You may have known that I am into Chinese Painting for some 20 years now. This started out as a hobby and gradually my paintings have joined in many group exhibitions overseas in China, Hong Kong, USA, Canada, Malaysia and Singapore. I am the secretary and a committee member of the Australian Lingnan Chinese Art Association.
This is the first time we have the exhibition in Melbourne by 33 members of Australian Chinese Lingnan Art Association.
There are over 100 paintings (scrolls and frames) on display and for sale at the Victoria Artists Society Galleries, 430 Albert Street, East Melbourne on 17-22 May.

Opening night 6:30-8.00pm Tuesday 17 May.
Free entry. Free catalogue ‘A Collection of Paintings by members ALCAA’ will be given out on the Opening night.

There will be Chinese painting demonstration by artists on Saturday and Sunday afternoon 1-4pm. I will be at the gallery on Sunday 22 May 1-4pm.
