Shot with a Canon Power Shot A520
white, food, curves, eggs
Beautiful lighting and texture! Nicely composed as well. Which did come first, the chicken or the egg?
Thanks Shawn…. err…. i dunno… the egg, yeah… no… the chicken… no, the egg… well… Oh leave me alone!!! LOL
lovely hi-key picture. Just enough to tell the shapes. BTW: We don’t see white eggs anymore around here :-(
Thanks George! You don’t, why not?

Great shot Nathalie, perfect lighting! What about the white eggs George?
Thanks Johanne, too bad it’s not doing so well in the comp! (white is a color right?) lol
I should think so… Sometimes it is disappointing to see what makes people react while perfectly good work gets next to nothing. What disappoints me right this minute is that I made a few shots to enter this comp, realizing that I was too late to upload anything. Oh well!
Oh no… that’s too bad, I’m sure they were great!!
Great concept, nicely worked, well done Nathalie
Thank you Pete!! ;-)
I voted for your pix in the comp. White is actually a tone as is black, but that shouldn’t matter. I think it is a great entry. And to follow up with George, we don’t get white chicken eggs over here in England like they do in canada and the usa. Ours are all brown- only when you get duck eggs do you get white ones.
Thanks for the vote Shawn!
this would be great for the Simple by Design group
Thanks Dana, just joined the group! ;-)
What Shawn said… Only brown ones. When I grew up in Athens all our eggs were white. Now in the UK, all we get is brown. I’m not sure if it has to do with being free-range, or just a different type of hen.
I’m think it’s because of the different type of hen… Anyway they all taste the same right?
