This is a local (Bethesda, Maryland) whimsical reinterpretation of Vincent van Gogh’s The Starry Night. It consists of over 1250 door knobs, levers, and back plates — the genre is “Spring Cleaning” and the style is “Post-Door Hardwareism”. This is on Norfolk Avenue at Wisconsin Avenue, courtesy of Union Hardware. We intend to go back at night and catch it then! That is my lovely wife admiring the art and the humor.
