I did notice and I have to admit – this brought a tear to my eye, no kidding. The Angel is really special and you’ve really caught that in this shot.

Yes you definitely do have to see it one day . . . It is one of the most viewed pieces of art in the world – seen by more than one person every second, 90,000 every day or 33 million every year. That is due to it being close to a busy motorway AND the main East Coast railway line.

It is believed to be the largest angel sculpture in the world.
