Eroded Dune by Terry Everson
Clear

This is located in the Mungo National Park in the far west of NSW. It was here in the nearby dry lake bed that archeologists unearthed human remains that were subsequently carbon dated more than 30,000 years. The subsequent unearthing of more human remains gave evidence to the fact that aborigines occupied the land all that time ago. Artifacts and other bones of extinct animals continue to be discovered.

Having visited many overseas countries and travelled extensively all over Australia since my early teens you can see by my portfolio that the Australian landscape is my favourite subject. I used to take slides because I liked the big picture but having been converted to digital I now shoot with a Nikon D5200, A Panasonic Lumix FZ18 (love that 500mm zoom) and a Samsung compact.

    G’day Terry,

The lighting in this fine Aussie landscape is absolutely gorgeous.
The composition, depth of field, focus and well handled contrast/highlights make for a most attractive image and the colours are very pleasing warm, earthy tones.
    Very good work that man!
