Golden Poplar trees beside the roadway to Shannons Flat in southern NSW, Australia herald the change of seasons.

Having visited many overseas countries and travelled extensively all over Australia since my early teens you can see by my portfolio that the Australian landscape is my favourite subject. I used to take slides because I liked the big picture but having been converted to digital I now shoot with a Nikon D5200, A Panasonic Lumix FZ18 (love that 500mm zoom) and a Samsung compact.

Bit nippy down that way, mate, but very nice country. I have to say, though, that the bloke who invented iron fence posts should be shot. I bet he wasn’t a photographer hehe.

  • Thanks Gary, yes I prefer the old wooden posts.
