I now reside at Whalan in the Western Suburbs of Sydney but was rared in the beachside suburb of Coogee. I left school at 16 and joined the Railways where I worked for almost 30 years. I took redundency in 1989 and after spending too much money on travelling commenced a lawn mowing business in 1997 and worked at that until 2006 . I then became a fulltime carer for my mother who turned 100 in September 2012. Although having visited many overseas countries my photographic interest lies mainly in capturing the Australian landscape. Since gaining my car licence at 17 I have driven a million miles around Australia in the last 50 years. I like to bush camp and travel on the back roads as much as possible although my situation now restricts me to a couple of two week breaks each year. My other interests include bushwalking, gardening and tennis which I played at a competitive level until just recently. I also like to write of some of my travels which you can read in my portfolio. I have been successful in having my images accepted in National and International Exhibitions and I have won a camera and lens in seperate magazine competitions. I have had many of my images published in `Discover Blue Mountains` and `Discover Central West` tourist magazines. I hope you enjoy looking at some of my images and any comments favourable or otherwise are most welcome. I have images on other sites such as www.flickr.com/photos/tez31/ and www.facebook.com/terry.everson My equipment includes a Nikon D5000 and various filters. A Tamron 10-24mm and a Tamron 18-270mm which I won in `Digital Photography Magazine`. A Richo FZ18 and two compact Samsungs.
