I now reside in the Western Suburbs of Sydney but was rared in the beachside suburb of Coogee. I left school at 16 and joined the Railways where I worked for almost 30 years. I then commenced my own Lawn Mowing business. I don`t do a lot of that now as I have to care for my elderly mother. Before I began caring for her two years ago I was an avid traveller and on a few occasions I have visited Europe, America, Canada, Great Britain, Singapore, New Zealand and have travelled extensively throughout Australia driving more than a million miles. When touring Australia I like to get on the back roads and I mostly bush camp. I enjoy playing tennis and play at a competitive level. I like bushwalking and of course photography mostly sticking to landscapes. Before the digital age I mostly used slide film with various cameras and in the last few years was a great fan of Fuji Velvia. I now have a compact Samsung and a Panasonic Lumix FZ18 and a Nikon D60.
