Emptiness

Emptiness

My heart is an empty sea
Warmed only by the hope
That he will sail by
And breath soft whispers
Of light to cast a golden glow
Upon my soul

Beautiful soft image Tessa….the light reflected on the sea is lovely!!!

  • Tessa Bishop replied

Thank you George. The sea seemed remarkably calm yesterday considering how windy it was!

Looked at this pic for a while and though to myself “what a great picture.” It leaves me with a feeling of anticipation; like there’s something missing that will be coming soon. Then I looked at the title and laughed. Perfect! That’s the feeling it gave me, in a word. Excellent title for an excellent pic.

  • Tessa Bishop replied

lol thank you! Would it spoil it for to know there was a huge fishing vessel just out of sight on the right hand side? It definitely didn’t fit with my vision of peace and quiet!!!

In reply to your response: NOPE. Not at all.

This pic can stand on its own. Kinda like a “Wet Paint” sign. You want to reach out and touch it. With this one, the rays of light just draw you into the frame.

Wonderful minimalism! The gentle crepuscular rays and reflected light are superb.

  • Tessa Bishop replied

I had to google ‘crepuscular rays’! This is one of my own favourite images, it was a beautiful moment. Thanks for the fave :o)
